From Sample Review to Production

A structured sample review helps keep a custom packaging project aligned from discussion to delivery.

Review against one specification

Bring the dimensions, materials, layout, finish and branding requirements into a single review checklist. Compare the sample against that checklist instead of relying on separate messages or different versions of a drawing.

Check appearance and function

Look at wood grain, finish, lining and visual details, then test the lid, hinges, closure and removable components. Review how the product sits inside the pack. Photograph any requested changes and describe their location clearly.

Resolve changes before approval

Separate essential corrections from optional refinements. Confirm which version is being approved and keep a written record of agreed changes. If a change affects fit or construction, discuss whether another sample review is needed.

Agree the production and packing details

Confirm quantity, schedule, protective packing and destination with the team. Lead times and delivery arrangements depend on the agreed project; the written quotation and order agreement should remain the reference for commercial commitments.

Keep the approved sample available

The approved sample gives both sides a practical reference for the finished product. Retain the final specifications and review records so that inspection and any later repeat order can be discussed against the same details.
